I am sure that I saw/read something last week about the "dimple" on the top of early control knobs with the top and side junction very slightly rounded. On two of my Custom Shops, the tops are slightly concave but with sharper edges. On one photo of original knobs, I thought I could see that the centre of the top was raised, then dipped and raised as it met the edge. I can't describe it any other way.
Please can someone confirm what the originals were like, were they all the same?
