NGD: 2019 Cherry Sunburst Traditional

I’ve been wanting one like this since I was 14. I have a 2012 Classic Custom, which I adore, but I have to say that the Burstbuckers sound gorgeous; the lower frets are kinder to my heavy hands; the fatter neck feels better than the ‘60s slim taper; and the G string stays in tune without lube or graphite. Although it’s non-weight relieved, at 9 lbs, it’s actually lighter than the Classic Custom. The finish and top are gorgeous and it’s a just a beautiful guitar. I haven’t been able to put it down, and I have to say that Gibson got this one right.

After a couple of days, I decided to put the pick guard on. They look unfinished to me without them.

Beautiful Les Paul some of my guitars weight over 9 lb and have great tone ,enjoy your new Les Paul !

Thanks so much. I am enjoying it very much. I’m 53 years old, and my Strat is about 9 pounds as well. I find that the four inch wide leather straps distribute the weight of my guitars very well for gigs and long jam sessions. My Tele weighs in at about 7 1/2 pounds, which feels like nothing when I strap it on.

Nice Guitar ! Happy NGD !
I have a 17' Traditional Cherry Sunburst I bought new and i love it !
I put the pick guard on also... They look the best I think with them on...
Gibson did a good job with this model..

Yeah, a buddy of mine just scored an ‘18 Traditional. He’s another believer...and another pick guard on player. I love this guitar.

Great looking LP....I have a 2017 Trad Pro...looks almost like yours....I like the pick guard on too....looks weird with it off to me..:dude:
