• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I spent a week without food and drink in the hospital dealing with panncreatitus and gallstones. An ERCP dealt with the gallstone blocking a bile duct, and a gall bladder removal the n3xt day precludes a reoccurrence of that.

My wife went through this a few years ago! She spent 5 days on an iv, eating nothing but crushed ice. I joined her in the bed and we watched old movies. The surgeon wanted her to be ready for surgery as soon as the pancreatitis cleared up enough. They had her in an OR within 45 minutes of the nurse contacting him and him verifying that she was all set to operate on. No more fried foods (and some other foods) for her. Crazy!

Most early 60's wiring is impregnated cloth insulation- or overbraid. Just an indicator- you still need to check date codes which is very easy to do, particularly on Fender stuff.
This has been buggered with in a big way- double check the transformers- you won't get much more than $1000 for this with the 'attempted forgery'. With a black chassis and silver faceplate, $1600-1800. The price of these Fenders has gone up alot.

+1 with corpse's evaluation. This is a player amp. And...it is in need of service. That is an original bias cap we see there, so the filter caps are likely to be original. If it came around me for sale, I am into it for maybe $700 max....and would offer to give $500 as a counter to whatever their asking price was. The $700 would be IF I wanted to service it and keep it. Unless you do your own service work, look to pay $250-400 depending on variables and location.

Capt Brad....they would not let me even suck on ice...nothing down to the stomach at all. I did not avail myself of the drugs as often as I could have, but a shot of morphine in to the IV every 4 hours was available. Pancreatitus...as the medicos put it to me....a mean thing. I have to agree. When I came out from under after teh ERCP that removed the gallstone from the bile duct, I went "AAAAAHHH! That is better!"

RE: that little blue label. I have seen that on ceramic Jensens from the early '60's, too. IN fact, I have a couple of C10Q;s from 1963 that have that label.....coded 220323.
