• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I absolutely love them - have a 62 Les Paul Special, ES-330, 60 Junior and picked up last week the best instrument I have ever played - a 54 Goldtop.

I also have a 53/9 conversion with PAFs, but honestly the Goldtop with P90s somehow just offers so much more - super powerful, but at the same time bags of character.

Sweet gear!! I love P90's as well...I used to think they were overdriven messes but I get a sweet cut from them while still being full! Thank for sharing!šŸ¤˜

They're the best! And it seems they are getting more popular again these days, at least judging by the bigger offerings from the CS?

IMHO, P-90's is all you need on a Les Paul. Humbuckers are nice, too. But when I play an LP with humbuckers, I always think P-90's would have been more than adequate.

The best sounding LP of all time has P-90's. :peace2

Sounds great man! For some reason, coming up, I always had this bad opinion of p90's till I actually played a great LP with them. Thanks for the vid!šŸ¤˜ David A

I saw that 1956 LP Standard Gold Top Dark Back VOS on the website the other day, and it looks delicious! Do you think the fretboard color can get more dark and uniform after some fret doctor?
