    Blocking a high quality bridge

Is it better to replace my gotoh 510 bridge with something less expensive when I block off my trem or does a high quality bridge improve the sustain when doing this?

You may not notice any difference with a single change

If you like the sound of your guitar I’d leave the bridge alone. There are a lot of opinions on how blocking the bridge does or does not affect the tone.
There are several methods....all with their reasons and fans.
When you pick up the guitar, play it like it’s the last time.
