• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Ron Jones stopped by today and we took a pic.
Check his reverse headstock 1965 bird. Also the 12 string. :jim:jim

Lovely! I wish I had bought several a few years back. I particularly like the Lower Right. I would probably just not put it down.

Did they make any lefty FB's?. Looks like the reverse headstock one may have been re-necked with a lefty one (Gibson logo is upside down, too). Also wonder if the 12 string one is a re-necked custom job.

Everything is factory . The FB-1, I put a humbucker in and replaced tuners.
12 string has a melody maker neck joint.

They may be factory but were they one-offs or were they actually production guitars that were released to the public?. I don't see Gibson releasing a FB with a left-handed neck with an upside down logo. Maybe one-of-a-kind worker-made guitars?. I think they are cool, just wondering if they were ever actually in the Gibson catalog.

Good question. Was`nt the change in headstock an attempt to make it less
Fender like?
