    WHITEGUARD STRAT

    What a stupid model name.
Contoured Tele is more accurate [and not a really good name either].

    ...not a fan...
IMO the only usable Fender guitar hybrid so far is the Jazzcaster/ Telemaster, i.e. the combination of a JM body with the hardware of a Tele.
    Ergonomic and great sounding

In retrospect, I think your name … Strelecaster is a good one. Better than mine or Fender's name.

I don't mind it..kinda cool in a weird way..certainly practical if you need strat ergonomics

    Re: Strelecaster

Yeah saw that notice from Fender. It's a strat, it's a Tele, no it's a um, hardtail, two pickup strat shaped bodied Tele. hmm.

So the only advantage(?)would be like Tom said, the contour body shape. Right?

    Stratotele

    TeleStrat

Strat body without the unique strat in between tones.
