• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

WHITEGUARD STRAT

What a stupid model name.
Contoured Tele is more accurate [and not a really good name either]. :ganz

My wife dropped a name for it when i showed her the photo: butt ugly...

Still, regardless of the name, i kinda like this hybrid!

:hmm ...not a fan...
IMO the only usable Fender guitar hybrid so far is the Jazzcaster/ Telemaster, i.e. the combination of a JM body with the hardware of a Tele.
Ergonomic and great sounding :jim

Yeah saw that notice from Fender. It's a strat, it's a Tele, no it's a :hmm um, hardtail, two pickup strat shaped bodied Tele. hmm.

So the only advantage(?)would be like Tom said, the contour body shape. Right?
