The Gibson logo on the case of my 2014 LP Standard is the gold/black logo. This one is almost worn off yet I almost never used or moved this case. It was stored in a closet off a bathroom. It literally wore off without friction. Only the black background remains.

Are their stencils I could buy? I have antique gold paint I could repair it with.
Should I just ignore the faded logo and let it be?

This was my only Gibson case(or Epiphone either) that the logo was effected by moister. Out of 7 cases-6 Gibson and 1 Epi only the case for the Standard had the logo simply fade and disappear. 3 Gibson Classics. a LP Jr, LP Standard, Epi Casino, LP Studio.
This logo was definitely different from the others. I'm thinking it may have been older. I waited over an hour for them to find a case for this Standard I bought new off the rack. As if a salesman went home and got one of his own cases. I think they had run out of cases.

I should go back to this shop and talk about this case but Ive had it 3 yrs and I'm too chicken to go confront them.

Now THAT definitely sheds new light on the subject. Something sounds suspect; But, it has been 3 years. Difficult to find something CONCRETE to stand on, if you go in and bitch. :hmm ... Unless you play the "crazy motherfucker" card, in which you'll probably get a new case .. or arrested, if you overdo it! :rofl

methane gas is no laugh'n matter :moon ... leave the logo as is and move the case away from the bathroom ( quickly )
