Hi,
I have a two year old Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plustop PRO and want to give it a 'spruce up'. Planning to fit new strings (probably Gibson Vintage Reissue Electric Strings 10-46, but open to suggestions) and take the opportunity to clean the fretboard. I believe its Pao Ferro - will Dunlop lemon fret cleaner be OK on this?
I read that with the strings as standard there's a chance of bridge collapse due to the steep angle, is that true?
I have a Strat so want the LP to be 'warm and mellow' with a nice chime, will the Vintage strings provide that, and if not, what would?
Any other suggestions welcome.
