Hello Lester Lovers. I’ve researched this and seen similar Gretsch diagrams, but rather than try to translate that to Les Paul wiring with my limited knowledge I’m floating this to you all.
First I’ll preempt the “Why on Earth would you want that?” issue. Volume swells are integral to my style. I am not interested in a volume pedal for this purpose; working the knobs is as much a part of my playing the guitar as fretting the strings is.
So why not just have a master volume? Middle position volume blends are essential Les Paul material for me.
With that out of the way-
What I want is Master Volume in place of Neck Volume, Neck Volume in place of Neck Tone, Bridge Volume as is, and Master Tone in place of Bridge Tone.
Help appreciated.
