It's an early 52, the pole piece rout in the p90 rout is very narrow. Very indicative of that year. Obviously not the early unbound 52.

I wonder how much this guy got when he sold the guitar on ebay. What does a
chewed up husk 53 GT no parts just body go for these days? Or for that matter a
1954 GT? He is going to have to do some serious repair work.

I just thought up a new abbreviation to save time typing- you know like IIRC (If I Recall), BTW (By The Way).
I am sure it has applications other than the Les Paul Forum- forgive me if someone else thought it up already.
