• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I'm interested in getting a slightly more accurate one than I currently have. The Custom Shop is cheaper, Dave says it's quite accurate. The Bartlett is probably more accurate, nicely aged and has better pickups. Any thoughts about which might be closer to the real thing?

based on your post I think you already know the answer.

But if you're asking for personal opinions, I think I'd take the CS, for legitimacy's sake.

Any hardcore replica down to the most minute details is just a nicer name for fake/forgery in my opinion, regardless of the logo on the headstock.

I like vintage stuff and vintage correctness as well, but for me, some other things precede it.
