Pretty sure Lee has his own signature L-5 w/a smaller body than a stock L-5

Yep. That's his signature model. 15 1/2" body instead of 17". The one he's playing has the regular L-5 tailpiece, but the sig model ships with the "fingers" style adjustable tail that came on the Le Grand and a few other models.
