Hi all,
I'm new to the forum here and I wanted some insight on modifying my Gibson Les Paul Classic. I bought this from the previous owner and he had already taken out the original pickups and installed BurstBucker Pros, but I am thinking about installing some Seymour Duncan Antiquities. I also wanted to switch out the pots to RS Guitar works 500k pots (the vintage kit). I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for what sort of pots to install. I want a more sensitive volume and tone with more swell. I'm having sensitivity issues with my current set up.
I would like my guitar to be similar to a '59 or '60s spec as possible. I'm looking for tone ranging everywhere from Slash, Clapton, Gibbons, etc. etc.
P.S Any insight on whether I need to get the short or long shaft RS Kit?\
Thanks for the help!
