Hello everyone!
I'm looking to buy a used 2011 Custom Shop Dot reissue ES-335 online, and on the pictures I can see on the Custom Shop COA that the serial number is 12931704. I understand this serial number belongs to a Nashville 2011 production. However, I was under the impression that CS guitars all had a CS+6digit serial number. How can this be?

Could you post those pictures or other info ??? What does the COA look like ? It might a CS built guitar, depends on the run it's from . IIRC from 1 CS -ES guitar I own , it has non-standard /Historic numbering(because it's not an Historic RI) , but it's 100% , a CS built guitar . I'll check it #'s and get back about what I find . (Off hand, IIRC, it is not a 9 # serial and has a CS inked in front of the #'s)

Is the number on the guitar you are looking at Inked of stamped on ? 9 digit serial number ? could it be a Gibson USA made ??:hmm
