After the photobucket thing sent a lot of pictures south, be cool if we could reassemble all the Big/Monster/Unusual tops in one thread.

This one was part of a “handpicked” special run from Dave’s Guitar Shop (confirmed by the COA and Gibson Customer Service) built in 2015 to 2014 specs and with a 2014 SN. From Dave's: “Page 49 Burst, We selected this color to match the guitar found on page 49 of “The Beauty of the Burst” book.” (Page 49 is VicDaPra’s “Gruhn Burst” 9-0627).

Hello all,, hope this one makes the cut!

just picked up this one,,2001 59’ reissue,,in an unplayed state,,came from a serious collector who consigned it.,from what I understand it was originally ordered from Gibson by ww guitars,,then when it arrived was put directly in his private collection,,I immediately grabbed it before it went on the consigners website,,,came with everything gibson shipped with it,,including cotton guitar sheath like the one that came with pearly gates,,and the original brown Lifton case ...killer flame!!

Here ya go...

hope this makes the cut,,just arrived recently,2001...R9...8.2lbs ,in unplayed condition,,was ordered at ww guitars by a “super collector” as soon as it came in it went into his collection,,hasn’t seen the light of day until he consigned it to a guitar shop in New Hampshire(MGL)..killer top,,but sounds and plays even better!!...check it out..

Yeah, those are mine.
The top one weighs about 8.5lbs, I think.
The middle one weighs 8lbs, 5oz.
Can't remember what the bottom one weighs.
