• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

In addition to seeing several really incredible Ventures gigs in the early 1980s on the east and west coasts, I had the pleasure of hanging out with Nokie Edwards for several hours during one of the early Ponderosa Stomps in New Orleans. He was very calm but highly forthcoming about all kinds of experiences and his own outlook on the development of r n r , electric guitars, and many other topics. And he was a fantastic musician! RIP-
