• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Time today to get these out for a pic.
Early 1965 melody makers. Really fun to play.

That wonky body style.:hank 280000 -315000 have a real nice
neck profile. Wide as a 59 and little neck taper. One w/humbucker you can see it!!
But they still vary.:)

Nice collection. I’ve had this since 1977. A joy to play.

The wide neck 65's are EXCELLENT guitars by any standard. The neck profiles are sweet, round and full. I just love cherry red mahogany. The D model is a gem. Great little flock there.:yah:hank

Yeah man, keeping it lit. I dig play out and people asking about them.
And so LIGHT! You can find a modified one for around $500. The relocated
input jack is the way. Simple.. just a VOL. Nothing else in the way.
