The cuts are also thinner hence the weight difference other than the chunk of wood. Yeah. The bass is light. But the tones are better than most. I had some trepidation over that figuring it would lead to dead spots or a boxy tone. It is VERY alive and snappy and not a dead spot on it.

I wonder how different the kickbuckers sound compared to your P-90s... maybe I’ll order a set to try em out?
