New 2018 Les Paul Junior

Hi, nice changes to the Jr!
Can you please tell me about changing the tuners to the 3 on a plate style?
Did you use conversion bushings? Did you have to drill more holes? Do any of the old holes show?

I think that's stock.

I added the three on a plate tuners and conversion bushings. The guitar came with white button singles for tuners with the nut and washer setup. I had to drill new holes for the new tuners, but the old ones are completely hidden.

That's the Ooops! The photos look to be when he bought it and before he modified the headstock. It is logical to assume, as I did that he hadn't modded it yet and the picture was as it was stock. My mistake.

Al, the stock ones were screw in bushings. I have been working on the new electronics. I replaced the PCB board and pup with a harness from Electric city pickups and one of their P90s.

I picked up the one I ordered Friday , Cant believe the sustain and how this guitar sings really blown away . This guitar can hold its own with my 58 & 55 I owned . Job well done Gibson USA !

as the great Gristle King states. one pickup gets all the tone juice

there is only a finite amount of tone juice. why make the bridge pickup fight for it

and you can thwack your audience with the vehemence of peril (or parallel?)

I picked up a 2018 SG Junior and can report that it is every bit as good as the LP Junior. Deeper bevels than previous issues, '61 style knob placement, no pcb electronics - hand wired. I redid the headstock on this one too just like on the junior. Aces.

The 2018 single cut JR is a fantastic guitar I bought one a few weeks back really plays and sounds great !
