• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Hi I just purchased a 52 which has a bunch of parts missing.it has been converted for humbuckers.
I am the 4th owner of this guitar the first owner included all the paperwork concerning the neck so i know that that is correct i also had it checked out by a burst expert here in the uk.
parts list that require to be replaced
pickup rings
either a set of paf pickups(depending on price) or a good replacement
pickup rings
switch ring
bridge and tailpiece
control knobs
The pots, caps, switch and jack are all correct but i would need to clean the solder joints as they are really poor
most of the work was done by the second owner, why do they botch a vintage guitar.
the gold finish was removed and a sunburst was applied which i think may have been done by gibson when the neck was replaced.
