    Possible Burst (or Conversion) sighting - America - Sound Stage Live at Chicago-2008

    I saw this show last week on AXS TV - check out the guitarist/pianist in the back:

    At 1:02:10 you can see a fairly good shot but the real close-up is at 1:02:38.


    Your thoughts?

    I'd say conversion all day long. Offset seam on the top gives it away

    Was converted i the 70s. That's Michael Woods. He played that guitar on Midnight Special in 1976:

    hmm...he put covers on the db's after so long...and they sounded so good. 5th knob did look a little too Spinal Tappish...

    I think we forget how many hits they had in the 70's. I remember most of these played on the bus ride to school. Great band. Yes he had some great licks and tone. Cool guitar.

    When watching the America youtube I thought it had a removed B Bender, but OMG even more involved!!! Got to be a conversion?
