An awesome '50s tweed era amplifier in original condition. Original oxblood vinyl covering is in good condition, as is the handle, grill cloth, control knobs, nickel control panel and chassis. The original Jensen Alnico speaker sounds incredible and is the holy grail of a vintage speakers and worth $200 alone. The tubes are (1) 5Y3 (2) 6V6 and (2) 12AX7. The circuit is identical the legendary wide-panel 5D3 Fender Tweed Deluxe of the mid-50s. It's loud enough to play with the drummer and really starts to break up to rich creamness past 5 on the volume knob. It's a fantastic amp and I'd love to keep it but need to make room other stuff. This is a true point to point piece made in Kalamazoo, Michigan during the golden era of guitar and amp development. $995 plus S&H
Only trades I would be interested in are Gibson ES-335, Les Paul Historic Special/Jr, or '61 SG reissue (or a Standard with a fat neck) i.e.not interested in slim-taper (skinny) necks.
