• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Without any more pics, looks like it had a volute repair.
Clear shots of that area are conveniently missing.

Value wise, I don't know. I'd hope to get a refin with replaced pickups from '76 at sub 2k, but that's me and this is ebay. I don't know the market well enough to be exacting in how much those things de-value the guitar but it just seems like the starting bid is about max of what I'd pay. Then again, since buying my '72, every time I look similar ones are asking higher & higher dollar amounts. :hmm

I'd try and get a better price, but that puppy is cool! I'd replace at least two of the Super D's with PAFs, (Dimarzio of course), but damn! that is a cool guitar. $2k seems kinda high, but deals can be made.
