What Greco Les Paul i have? Please hhelp

Season greetings!

I managed to buy a Greco Les Paul (sn: I796172). I know that it is from september 1979
But i cannot compute what model is it.
I have not looked under the coils... After i change the strings...

Sounds heavnly.

Anykind of help is appreciated!

I suspect it may be Korean made. Pull the neck pickup and show us a good photograph of the neck tenon.

Looks like the same serial # as on our 79 Ibanez Artist, It start with I79 too..
Bet they where made in the same plant at the same time..

I have not found this type of truss rod cover on other Greco's of that year. I can see this type of cover on 81 eg700....

The cover is from mint model. Otherwise it is eg700....
...still not checked the pickus and tenon...

I know it is not a timely reply, but that doweled neck tenon seems to show that this is a Japanese made Greco.
