• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

That's gorgeous. For some reason there were several in 63 with that slightly different color. And I really like it.

Great looking guitar.

Looking at the bridge height that looks like a very low neck angle.
Some guys really like being closer to the body like that. It is a different feel. My converted '65 (Bog standard cherry.) has maybe a half a wheel higher. Took me some getting used to but man, these old 335s are something special. Light weight, very resonant.

Killer score:salude

Oh congrats. I gazed at that one too. What a cool xmas present to have. The cherry '64 also makes my heart jump madly

That's a beauty, but I have to ask, why would a '63 have had a trapeze tailpiece? I can clearly see a shadow where a trapeze tailpiece was mounted.

I was told a previous owner in Holland converted it from an original stop tail to a trapeze, for some reason

Nice! Here is a photo of my early ‘63, S/N 104XXX, PAF in the neck, PAT# in the bridge. Large neck profile.

Love those mouse ears. That’s one reason why ‘63s are so cool, last year of the mouse!
