thanks for the positivity! damian is an incredible builder and human. it’s an absolute pleasure to work with such a highly skilled and brilliant builder. his rocket 59 builds are extremely limited.

his rocket III is killing as well.

Many manufacturers had a superstrat with similar specs in the 80s-90s... here's my 1989 Heritage w/ 25 1/2" scale length.

Theres even a nice dish for us hard core AVH-ish types.

Although I hate the term "Burst Killer", as without the "Burst", there would be no inspiraton for a guitar like this, or a Yaron, or a Bartlett or whatever, BUT>>>>I love everything about your new guitar. I think Probett really knows how to work fusing the elements of Fender and Gibson aesthetics better than any other person out there. I think Gibson could take a cue from his design feel!!! The six on a side Strat style headstock works great with the double cut body. The natural finish top on that one looks ridiculously organic paired with the TV back. The white pickup rings paired with the white coils look great. And the aged inlays and the fingerboard look very inviting. And I love wraptails!!! I hope you find time to post a clip of the guitar plugged straight into an amp so we can hear if the tones are half as inviting to listen to as the guitar is to look at!!!! I've heard other Probett guitars and they all sounded great. Congrats on a wonderful guitar. One question though, does the string pull on that type of headstock mated with the shorter Gibbo scale length make for a different string tension feel?

    Digging my R III!

Through a 1959 Tweed and 1963 Fender Reverb Tank it sounded sweet and huge. A dream to play, great neck, fret work and body ergonomics with contours and cutaway. Intonation is perfect and pick ups with PAF and P90s very balanced and great tonal variation with one instrument. Finish quality is on par with JG, Bartlett, Collings...the best of the best.

It's like the offspring of a Tele and Strat hooked up with the offspring of an LP Special and an Explorer and had a kid. Crossbreed of a Fender and Gibson, that unlike prior attempts of crossbreeding, works and creates a new breed...like the Thoroughbred, which are Arabian and English crossbreeds.
