• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I need to replace the nut on one.

Is the nut slot flat or radius-ed ?

Thanks in advance ! :salude

Not my guitar, owner wants graph tech. Any difference between Tusq and TusqXL ?

It is radiused. But the flatter 12" radius will make it seem flatter than other nut radiuses.

If it were my guitar, I would go with just bone. Lubricated or whatever.

Yes, definitely a string tree. I put a round '54 style on mine. The problem is those graduated tuning machines aren't low enough for the G and B strings. Without the tree I could actually hear a harmonic ringing behind the nut on the G string. Drove me nuts.
