    Kossoff Up Close

Took me a little bit, but I think I’ve gotten some good exterior shots. Hope you enjoy. First pic shows an original Concert ticket from the show when Koss tossed it up and walked off. Also pictured is an article from when he was hurt during soundcheck prior to that show and had to reschedule to Oct 20.

He plays with feel (yeah, the sloppyness is a good thing for his style) and he's got tone to die for. He ain't no Petrucci or Vai. They got the technique down but no soul and no tone. - Hoss

Are you kidding? Dings and dents everywhere, Grovered, missing pickguard, half the finish is gone, cracks in the binding, a oddly shaped case that looks like it is held together with spit and chewing gum. I wouldn't give you a million dollars for it.

All joking aside, congratulations on a great piece of history and thanks for the fabulous photos!

Hell, I’m afraid to. I think it’s helping hold that raggedy thing together.

    GREAT pictures!

I can't even imagine what it's like to own a piece of rock history... I'm sure it feels great, and it's also good for the rest of us that Koss ended up in the care of someone we know...

    ENJOY!!!

Renderit, You have an interesting perspective and your posts aren't boring...
Ren, all in all, I'm giving you a C- today's posts...
Most of what you write with regards to my posts is cryptic nonsensical gibberish like this. I would prefer if you actually added something to the conversation but hey, I haven't walked in your shoes. So being as nice as possible: I look at your posts as if I was dealing with an eccentric cousin who comes to visit unannounced.

Incredible, incredible, incredible! I think Iíve scrolled through 100x by now and canít seem to stop. Why do other pics look like the top is completely faded, but you can clearly see some red left in these pics?

Just enough lighting. Too much lighting hides the color that has nearly faded away.

A beaten and beautiful relic from a rock warrior of ancient days... I've been reading about the Kossoff burst periodically for years, and I'm glad that it's being preserved, venerated, and made more closely accessible (visually) to lovers of the Les Paul. Play it joyfully and in good health!

Love the wear on top of the bass side ABR-1 post. Assuming that is the original, don't often see them that worn, but shows the love and play on this guitar. Thank you for taking all those pictures of the guitar and case.
