• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

1968 ES 345, suggestion: to buy it or not to buy it?

I did the same thing with the '65 ES335 I had.. flipped the neck pickup ring around so that the pickup face was more parallel to the strings. Nice Guit!!

Nice looking guitar. It needs a refret, but it won't be the first one done on it...she ain't no virgin in that respect.
Congratulations....

The new pics show a refret and nib replacement! Fun guitar.

What's that nut width?

Very nice one, interesting is the worn fretboard on the upper frets. :)

Seems to have typical late 60s and 70s thinner nut.

Ya, intresting me too.
I really can't explain.

And about the scares on the body?
Lookng the checking and the lack of laquer on the body, the scares on both sides of the neck, I thought it's been used by a left handed for a long period.
What d'you think?
