• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Yes,
I admit.
The second vintage SG in a week.
On tuesday I came back home with a 1967 Special:

http://www.lespaulforum.com/forum/s...VGD-1967-(maybe)-cherry-red-Gibson-SG-Special

...and yesterday evening a beautiful 1967 Standard became a new member of the family!

Incredibly lightweight axe, only 6,37 lbs!
Original pickups, one piece neck, no cracks, only pots are changed in the early seventies.

The serial, also in this case, is a "six number" and is 0026XX.
I don't know, maybe a 1967.

I love it, I love them!

Let me know what you think about it.

Very nice, congrats. For some reason my 60s SGs smell so good! The old lacquer thing is strong on them.

Love it!!!!

I have two '68 standards and just love them... and a big fan of when they retain that deep cherry color!!!
