• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I'm pretty sure that they were only available in black in '69. Yours looks to have all the seventies features too, pancake body, three piece neck, volute, chainsaw case.

I believe eve the only way to date a Norlin accurately might be to look at the pot codes. There are many here who know more than I do though, so best wait to see what they say.

As soon as I saw the Wine Red color, I was gonna say '75, plus have seen other '75s with the 5XXXXX range...

Yeah, 74-75 . Is the pickup/SS wiring channel square or round?

Defininitely late 74 or most probably 75, one of the last with mahogany necks.
