Hey guys,
Just picked up a second Showmaster Quilt top (left). I am thoroughly impressed with this guitar as well---my other is a Showmaster FMT Flame Maple top---but I have to say that it's maybe 2-3 lbs heavier than the FMT. I mean, distinctly heavier. I am wondering if it was some kind of "missing link" between the early "Custom Shop" original Showmasters and the later models?
Anyone else have one of these incredible instruments? I think it's the best guitar Fender ever built, and can't understand why they pulled its production.
