• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Thank you Sir!!

Although it may not be a definitive way to tell, if your guitar has an ABR bridge, chances are it was made in Kalamazoo. If it has a Nashville bridge, chances are it was made in Nashville.

Thanks! Mine has a Nashville so I guess Nashville it is.

The abr was 'permanently' phased out in 1975 save for reissues. So both factories were using the Nashville from then on. Its not a way to tell at all.

The 12th fret side dot spacing is a tell, but I'm not sure how that differs myself so can't elaborate. I think the Deluxe may well have moved across to the Nashville plant where the more elaborate Custom stayed with the more experienced Kalamazoo workforce.
