• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Is HS Specs the same as a TH; i.e. Long tenon, vintage specs at least as good as 2014 Historics? I ask because I m interested in a different one.

Hi renderit. Yes, Historic Select is the same as True Historic. The only difference is that you're choosing options on the Historic Select (color and aging level). True Historic Specs (2015) are very different than the 2014 spec though so be sure you're up to speed on the differences.

Love the subtle diversion from the usual specs of the classic bursts. The switch washer MIA really makes the grain pop in my eyes.

I know this is an older thread, but I found this exact guitar for sale and ended up purchasing it. When I found this guitar for sale at a local shop I hadn't seen a HS9 serial Historic before. I started searching the Internet to find more information on the guitar before I made the purchase. I was very pleased to find this thread with the exact guitar I was looking to purchase. Here are some pics that show how the color changes depending on the light.
