• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Replica Les Pauls show em!!

And why not buy from the builder? I'd assume he can still make them and they will have a consistent good quality...

Couple of reasons

a) laying down £—-x and then waiting 2 or 3 + years for anything to materialise. Compared with finding one you like and taking it home immediately.
b) what you finally get, might not be what you expected, every guitar is unique, some call you in, some don’t. You’ll never know until you’ve got it in your hands. It’s a risk
c) it’s more than £7k for a base model. I rarely buy anything like this new, I like the value in pre-owned. You generally pay closer to the intrinsic value. The first customer who likes shiny new stuff will have payed for most if not all of the depreciation.

I doubt a terry will have any depreciation to be honest, but still I don’t want to go through the hassle of A and B

Got to play one of Mr Baker's (?- I think that's right) copies this week Dave P. Sublime. Incredible neck- loud acoustically. Incredible through a little Marshall into a 4x12.
The ones I have now were not built by Mr B, thogh the ones I had were great.

Got to play a Terry Morgan on the weekend

i would have bought it if it was a 3rd of the price but there we are! Would have been the end of all LPs (59 style) for me, nice 7.9lb and super resonant

If you bought this then may I say many congrats to you sir. It was truly an incredible instrument. Feather weight and acoustically punchy and loud, only wish I could have plugged it in.
