• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Another nice American made guitar.
Thru' neck, 24 frets, ebony board, wide thin neck profile, ablaone inlays, active / passive electronics with coil tap and phase switching (be better with a serial / parallel phase option), locking tuners and floating bridge. Alder and maple, very flamey :jim

Here's my favorite Carvin - I guess it's a plain top...

I've got a great Carvin DC150. I've posted it here. It's got stainless steel frets and an ebony fretboard. It plays like butter!

How are those amps, Tom?

It's been quite a while since I had that set. I remember the tweed Carvin sounding nice, but not up to a [equivalent] tweed Fender. Better than many 50s Gibson amps I have played.
