• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I'm glad to see that Photobucket has allowed the pics to be posted again.

When someone goes to these lengths to restore a piece like this it is not for any commercial reason, it because they are compelled to do it by an internal desire to make things right. I am genuinely proud for him, that it means that much to him and Greg, I salute you.

Can't believe I missed this thread when it came out.

Incredible work! So great to see an old guitar restored and not converted. Great choice on keeping the repairs and damages visible BTW :dude:

Great work and great pics - even from 5 years ago.
What did cause that circular damage on the treble side of the bridge?
Kinda reminds me of the spot where a previous owner of one of mine mistook a guitar for a coaster, and apparently put a shot glass on it - or messily poured a shot on it. Nasty alcohol ring on it.
Combine that with a drill with a hole saw bit on there.
