• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Wow ! stunningly beautiful ,love the color and figure . Ditto for not having the guards on as I feel when you have such a beautiful top it's a sin to cover up the grain.

I had the chance to see a lot of photos before buying them, so I got an unexpectedly flamed R8 (the one on top, washed cherry), while for the R9 (bottom) I went for the bourbon and for the cloudy figure. Apparently, we don't get all those wild flames here in Europe :( These are phone pics and don't really do them justice; they look better in person. Hence, no pickguard.

Day-am!!! Wow, that is just A+ LP flame porn right there folks. This a Murphy? I'd gladly sell body parts for this.

I have to agree. That one is probably one of my favorites in this whole thread. What year/model is it? Totally looks like a Murphy-painted 59.

That 1960 a couple of posts up is also absolutely stunning.

Thanks guys! No it is not a Murphy. It's a 2006 R9 with one of the best factory Cherry Sunburst finishes I have seen. Some TH parts have been added.
