• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

The black guard is a 1952, I am the second owner, since 1981...I have forgotten what month since I haven't had it apart in like, forever....found it just outside of Bethesda, Maryland while on tour...one of those...got the Sunday paper as I was winding down a Saturday night, and was standing in the sellers driveway at 7 AM, Sunday morning...I am positive I was reeking of beer, cigs, and perfume at that time.......I remember after buying it....taking it apart, no sleep that day, and worth it....
