• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

This thread caught my eye because my favorite guitar player is probably the most famous player of this guitar of all the players that have been mentioned here so far except for Les Paul the man, himself. Every other player who has been mentioned isn't really known for this guitar although apparently those players have played this guitar and owned as well.

I don't understand why this player has not been mentioned so far. Maybe he has and I missed it but I didn't see him mentioned. I'd say Franny Beecher is of all the people who played this model guitar is the most famous of the players playing this guitar. Maybe not the most famous player in the lot as a whole but for this guitar he is the most well known (save for Les Paul the man) yet no one mentioned him? Why is that?

Hi,

Here are some pics of my B4. It's a '98.
Let me know if it's only reserved for 50's Black beauties, and I'll delete my post.
Otherwise, enjoy the pics ;)

This all original 55 came in to me on consignment a few weeks ago. I had it advertised in the Dealers Classifieds and I tried to ignore it and stay away but I made the fatal mistake of taking it home with me last week. So I worked a deal out with the owner and I took it down from sale. It's totally stock and still retains it's original 'fretless wonder' frets. Bill Puplett has offered to sympathetically refret it for me with small wire but with more height to make it easier to play. Will hopefully get round to it in a few weeks.
