• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

My "burst-killer"....not quite as pricey as a Gustavsson, plywood top, weighs 7 1/4 lbs and sounds superb, my go to humbucker guitar for gigs

Very nice. I'd not heard of Comins before. They sound wonderful.

^ Agreed.

I remember trying to patch a deal together a few years ago with a Scottish based Jazz guitar specialist on a carved top Custom Comins Archtop. To be honest I got cold feet at the price..... which was significant. Phenomenal guitars across the range imo.

Comins is in Philly and makes some great guitars by hand, archtops and some solidbodies, naturally quite pricey.

The GCS Guitar Craft Series are built in a factory in Korea and are much more affordable. Bill Comins does the set up, mine was set up perfectly when I got it.
