• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

How about a little vintage Fender love?

No, I sold that 55 hardtail recently to a dear friend.

Here's the beautiful ash body:

I replaced this with a 55 trem model. Not as pretty, but a nice one.

That is easily the nicest 50‘s ash hardtail Strat I have ever seen. Beautiful sunburst complimenting the insane ash figuring and the neck looks like it has some birdseye action going on.

Recent acquisition. 1/55 TG neck, 1/55 body. Basically still the blackguard formula, but with steel saddles.

Note cool mother-of-pearl and rhinestone fanned cards on top. Unfortunately, the previous owner lost the original case. But I got his touring case, which still has his name on it.

i went on a guitar safari with my pal and found this rig. he dug around in the back of the amp and found an old poster of his band from the sixties and said.. this is mikes guitar and amp! it had belonged to the guitar player in his old band. the guitar players parents had bought the amp and guitar new as a gift for him graduating high school in 1959. its a small world.
