• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Ooof! I hate you too! Sounds MAAAAAAVELOS!

Thank you was a fun restoration. Looking forward to getting the blanket off those un-broken-in speakers. I was told to just slam them and eventually they will yield more open tone.

that quarter couldnt be that old.. george swashington still had dark hair. i keep all old tolex scraps, i have done patches with a sharp razor knife and some touch up that were hard to see. of course your stuff might not have been a fender tolex, however one drawer can hold a tidy little stash of different types.
Sorry for the Delay, here are the pictures of taking the black tolex off. I have since sanded most of the contact cement off. How bout that 1967 quarter. LOL.

interesting how the upper back panel was moved to the lower spot. maybe they could carry more cords etc!
