Steve, I can't keep from crying when I list these guitars; have to keep a few so as not to drown in my own tears.

Alex and Steve Gilvis the Great had this one in the 80's i think.Single ring tuners would make it a 1960 with those knobs i would think? Here are the other shots i have of it from Gil.Mike B.

Mike, turns out it's a 65; I remember the guitar being owned by one of my Japanese customers a while back. The single rings were on the Gold Klusons, so they would begin from 1959 on the ES-345; not sure when or if they ever became double.

    Re: Love ES's

Any of you guys remember the book by the 3 Amigo's Guitars,Guitars ,Guitars, that showed B+W photo's of guitars that were for sale at their shows. Was this guitar in there,or was it a copy of this guitar someone made? .I remember Larry Briggs had an Alvin Lee 335 or one just like it for sale in the 80's.I could be totally wrong but does anyone else remember this guitar at Larry Briggs "s or one of the Amigo's Shows??Thanks Mike B.

    Re: Love ES's

I posted this somewhere else and might as well put it in here. This is a list of guitars i was selling in 1986-87 {i think that is close anyway}These were going to get a burst. The prices will make you sick.A 1959 Es-335 near mint with tags for 3750 which is 3750.00 and sold at 3550.00.I did not put the last 2 digits on the price sheet so 4500 is 4500.00,1750 is 1750.00, 450 is 450.00 etc.Insane how cheap stuff was .Now you younger guys can see how us old guys got all those amazing guitars, they were so much cheaper then but money was worth a lot more.Hope you guys like this i have been hesitant to put old prices up but someone asked so here you go.Mike B.

"5-6 tears ago..." That's a great typo. I'd be crying too if I had been there to see that rack of beauties.
