• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Love ES's

My humble contribution to this thread. '67 I think. A tribute to Keith's.

I notice that the first 345 and second to last red 345 have long guards (ala 1959-1960) AND 1st fret inlays (ala 1961). That seems to be an interesting and mildly unusual variant. Neat-O. Is the first 345 missing it's 21st fret inlay? To quote the title of another LPF thread title: "Inlay Horror!"

The statement about 3 Blacks was 1959-ES-355's there were 3 made in 1959,many more black ES's made other years and other models -335-345-etc.I was only referring to 1959-ES-355's in factory Black.Glad you got to play a great guitar black ES's are so cool looking.Sorry i thought the tl was thinline not trini lopes. Thanks Mike B.
