• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Working a 59 the way you should.

Billy Squier at the Iridium 11-15-2010 with his 1959 in action. This song to me was the highlight of the evening.

Billy Squier is not only a FINE guitar player, with a "signature tone" that you tend to recognize IMMEDIATELY (I think his "phrasing" is outstanding - for me personally, this is one of the marks of a really good guitar player), but he was also a really smart businessman "back in the day", when other guys were getting screwed! He cut some really good deals for himself with the record companies, to insure that he "got paid"...:applaude

Hats off to a fine musician!:peace2

There's such a "chankiness" to his plain strings. I LOVE that! :yah
