• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Paul knocked it out of the park last night, I was astounded that he put his voice to the test so early in the set with Maybe I'm Amazed, but he had lots of gas left for Helter Skelter in the 2nd encore. It was funny, I was seated between wy wife (64 yo) and my musical partner (44yo) in the nosebleeds, and they were both waving like fools when Macca hit the stage, "Yoo hoo, Paul! I'm up here!" Nearly 70, and he pulls ALL the trim!

Paul McCartney live at Bell Centre, Montreal, Canada

8.00pm, Wednesday 27 July 2011 (Yesterday)

Sir Paul McCartney performed the second of two concerts at Montreal's Bell Centre.

McCartney's band was Paul 'Wix' Wickens (vocals, keyboards, guitar, percussion, harmonica), Brian Ray (vocals, guitar, bass), Rusty Anderson (vocals, guitar) and Abe Laboriel Jr (vocals, drums).

As is traditional, McCartney responded to a handful of the many signs held up by fans. One woman celebrating her 50th birthday asked him to sign her Sgt Pepper costume. Another sign was held by a pregnant woman and said: "Your smallest fan is in my belly. Sign it and we'll call him Paul."

Watch a clip of McCartney performing Yesterday, followed by the on-stage autographs for the fans.

He's just incredible. Yeah, the crowd...he started singing those old Beatle songs and the women were in tears, I mean borderline hysterical, just like the old video clips from the '60s. People just love this man and those songs dearly.

Yes, that's the one he's been using almost exclusively for Let Me Roll It (plus Foxy Lady outro) in the last years.

It might sound wonderful, and it might be a custom finish and all that, but I still get a sore eye watching it. That's what I'd call fugly.

oceantoad - do you travel with the band, follow the band from city to city, or just keep track of the tour from home?

Saw him in the Louisiana Super Dome in 1993, and we were in the 4th row floor seats stage right. That was the best concert I ever attended, and my wife and I had both waited years to see him as he hadn't played here since 1963 when we were both too young to attend. It is worth anyprice to see him perform Beatles songs live!

Rev,
Yes, have friends on tour & many friends who go to all the shows. They share some pretty cool stuff. I'm glad to pass it along here at LPF any chance I get..Cincinatti tomorrow, & they are all in preparation mode...

I remember meeting you on a plane to Dallas, RevWillie, to buy your Lester !!!

I'll go to the California/Nevada/Arizona gigs if I'm lucky. My first concert was Hollywood Bowl in August 1964, was bitten by the bug even before that.

In the skies above Wrigley Field...What is 'he' looking at?

Those are the shows Ive attended in the past.

Last night in Cinci tonight (for a while) til he gets married, guessing that he'll continue to tour.
