Am I correct that the price jumps when a mando comes with a truss rod (post 1921-ish)?

Do the pre-21 mandos have a solid metal rod like a Martin or nothing at all?

If you want to see the logo on mandolin, then don't worry about it. I have just bought the A-Style Mandolin from hola. It is excellent. comes with 8-string, lightweight and comfortable to use. Its main feature is tailpiece and open gear tuners have chrome plating.
